Wednesday June 3rd, 2026 (within Stoney Creek Conference Center)
Breakfast, coffee and networking 8:30am, Workshop 9a-12 noon
FREE for MoCann member employees and teams to attend!
With regular and surprise DCR facility inspections always on the horizon, we are excited to offer this free educational opportunity to help Missouri operators prepare for the day your operation falls under their microscope.
During this three hour workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Prove to your state inspector that you’re in compliance with 19 CSR 100-1.170 (facility requirements for manufacturing)
- Prepare for facility requirements as part of the new Cannabis Food Safety (CFS) program
- Leverage a Quality Management System or QMS (per 19 CSR 100-1.100 general facility requirements)
- Reduce your business risk through Good Manufacturing Practices
- Initiate the CSQ Certification process
- Improve procedures related to personnel hygiene and identify potential issues with your facility design
The workshop closes with the CSQ ‘Cannabis Safety 101’ course, which outlines the principles of cannabis safety that are essential for ensuring consumers receive safe cannabis products. Attendees who choose to complete the course will walk away with a training certificate in ‘Cannabis Safety 101.
Disclaimer: Attending this workshop alone doesn’t make you compliant to Missouri’s QMS requirements. CSQ is simply walking you through the steps your organization needs to take in order to meet said requirements.
Free Registration For Members:
Led by Cannabis Safety & Quality (CSQ), this 3-hour workshop is free for all active MoCann members to attend including folks not planning to attend the meetup, you can still register for the workshop and attend separately on Wednesday morning at Stoney Creek Independence.
