Cody Freeze is a registered pharmacist in Missouri and Kansas. Born and raised in rural southwest Missouri, Cody finished a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Degree at Pittsburg State University in 2009, and later his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in 2011. After over a decade of staffing or managing as a pharmacist in the corporate retail chain pharmacy world, Cody opted for a change of pace. With that change of pace, Cody became fascinated by one day owning and operating his own independent community retail pharmacy. Around that same time, Cody bought the farm he grew up on, and moved his family from Pratt, Kansas back to southwest Missouri, where he purchased his own pharmacy in Greenfield.

Serving as owner and Pharmacist-In-Charge since 2019. Cody is an American Pharmacist Association-certified immunizing pharmacist and provided his entire county with emergency testing and vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cody is an active member of multiple cannabis healthcare education and advocacy groups, a past and current formulator and creator of various cannabinoid and terpenoid products, and holds a patent for cannabidiol (CBD)topical cream since 2020. Initially, Cody buried himself in cannabis culture and literature types of all sorts. Also serving as the current Health and Wellness Director for Kansas City Cannabis, Cody educates patients, caregivers, and prescribers alike, advocating for the safe and effective use of cannabis pharmacotherapy. By already having a strong background as a readily accessible gatekeeper to our country’s prescription medicines, Cody is very familiar with consulting with patients regarding dosage form, dosing ranges, potential drug interactions, chemovar selection, and cannabis pharmacotherapy theory. Cody’s broad cannabis knowledge ranges from the simplest aspects of cannabis, up and including analyzing and interpreting the biochemistry.

Cody is a firm believer that pharmacists are in a critical position to make a difference in patient outcomes. With all the necessary tools to interact and help patients, pharmacists can drive positive outcomes. One of Cody’s future goals is to teach cannabis medicine to future healthcare providers, and he believes it should be a required didactic curriculum in schools of nursing, pharmacy, and medicine nationally. Cody believes every patient should have the right to effective medicinal cannabis consulting, and the ability to be truly heard. In his free time, Cody enjoys relaxing time with his family, spending time in nature on his farm, and being on the Sac River or Stockton Lake.
