MoCannTrade is an association of business owners and professionals proactively working together to build a successful, safe, compliant medical cannabis industry. By joining our collective knowledge and experience with the best practices and expertise of other cannabis legal states, we’ll safeguard stakeholders and streamline industry participation. MoCannTrade is led by 15 Board of Directors, 15 Advisory Board members, 5 external industry committees, 3 internal association management committees, the MoCannTrade PAC, our volunteer staff and full time Executive Director on behalf of nearly 400 business members.

No. MoCannTrade generates funding through membership and events to support the association and its member’s needs, no more.
No. There are many allied support businesses and service providers that will work in tandem with licensed businesses such as financial organizations, medical providers, security companies, law firms, contractors and suppliers that may never interact with a cannabis plant or product. We believe membership provides valuable relationships, knowledge share and connections that encourage mutual industry success.

No. The governmental entities responsible for implementing our medical marijuana program have set forth a merit-based, blind scored license application process based on a number of specific criteria. While licensing decisions will ultimately hinge on each application’s individual merits, MoCannTrade will provide its members with information, resources, education and connections that will be relevant and beneficial to the application process.
